Create an Alpaca Account
Go to alpaca.markets and click 'Sign Up'. You can create a free account - no minimum deposit required for paper trading.
Tip: Use your real email address as you'll need to verify it.

Navigate to Paper Trading
After signing in, click on 'Paper Trading' in the left sidebar. This gives you a practice account with $100,000 in virtual money.
Tip: Start with paper trading to test the copy trading feature before using real money.

Generate API Keys
Click on 'API Keys' in the left sidebar, then click 'Generate New Keys'. You'll see your API Key ID and Secret Key.
Warning: The Secret Key is only shown once! Copy it immediately and store it securely.

Copy Your Credentials
Copy both the API Key ID and Secret Key. You'll need to paste these into the OptionsKings Copy Trading setup.
Tip: For live trading, switch to 'Live Trading' and generate separate keys.

Enable Options Trading (Optional)
To trade options, you need to enable options in your Alpaca account. Go to Account Settings and apply for options trading.
Tip: Options approval may take 1-2 business days.
